believe it or not, the video card's ram speed will not cause it.  It will just determine how fast the game processes its graphics etc.  If it is a really good card tho (aside from the 128mb onboard ram), it will suck up alot more juice from the computer.  Another thing to check, and this was just a suggestion from another friend of mine, was to check your harddrive.  scandisk and everything might help determine if your harddrive might be at fault for it.  Sometimes, another thing to check is to make sure your motherboards drivers are all updated.  I found that issue with my computer the other night when i was trying to figure out why Doom 3 would not run on my computer.  Drivers sometimes help, sometimes a full reinstall of windows after a format helps...alot of options, but in the end, you could always also speak with a computer technician that can look at your computer directly.

Can be a few things.  First you want to check your graphics settings.  If you have an ATI or Nvidia control panel, make sure your settings are set to performance rather than quality and see if that helps.  Also, try changing some settings in the games graphics options.  That sometimes fixes the problems because sometimes if you push your hardware too much it'll cause a memory dump.  WoW works best with about 2 gigs of ram and as close to 2.0 ghz processor as possible too.  Also, if that still causes your computer to restart, check and see if your case has adequate cooling.  If it overheats due to the graphics card pumping out some power, that can cause issues as well.  Another thing to check is your power supply.  If your graphics card requires, say, a 500 watt power supply and you only got 300, your graphics card will not run at optimal speeds and sometimes may try to run at its best performance and force your power supply to freak out.

WoW is not very easy on computers anymore as it once was...I miss vanilla WoW...
